EPC Update

An update has been an published on the CLG (Communities and Local Government) website in relation to commercial EPC's which, to be honest, was expected. The amendment relates to any commercial property on the market for sale or lease before October 1st and still on the market after that date will require an EPC before January 4th 2009 at the latest. If the property is leased out or sold in the meantime then an EPC must be commissioned and passed to the incoming tenant / property owner as soon as is practicable.
